Soccer and baseball feature largely at Bakerview park, but the extras here are what really sell this park. The indoor soccer field is a perfect solution to dreary winter days or a quicker game for those looking to race around the pitch. The disc golf course can be either a lazy weekend walk or competitive battle. Bakerview Park is also home to Mount Vernon’s one and only off-leash dog park, equipped with a covered picnic shelter. Last, but not least, the BMX dirt track makes race day exciting for everyone, while the skate park will build everyone’s inner Tony Hawk.

Another one Bakerview Park’s great amenities is the Vaux Retreat Center community building - perfect for meetings, staff retreats, family reunions, and small events, including weddings, scheduled for 25-35 people. Larger groups can be accommodated with outdoor use. Rental includes use of the full kitchen area and large deck, as well as, the use of 5- 60” diameter round tables, 7- 6’ banquet style tables, approximately 45 chairs and a coffee pot.
