PADILLA BAY NATIONAL ESTUARINE RESEARCH RESERVE

This free interpretive center captures the essence of wildlife in this coastal area where the Salish Sea meets Skagit Valley through both aquarium and educational displays. The exhibits study local ecology and how the intertidal mudflats play an important role in our environment and economy. When you’re done in the center be sure to explore the Upland Interpretive trail through the surrounding forest and fields, or head to the nearby beaches and shore trails.
