The baseball field’s tall left wall, unique wooden grandstands, and surrounding fence give Sherman Anderson a feel unlike any other park. Concessions and batting cages help establish it as a preeminent community ballpark. Baseball is the heart and soul of Sherman Anderson, as this park dates back to the Roosevelt Administration’s Civilian Conservation Corps’ efforts.
